What I really do is provide individualised treatment plans that combine a variety of techniques, including Remedial Massage, Gentle Scar Therapy, and Remedial Hot Stone Massage, tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Remedial Massage
Remedial massage is a therapeutic form of massage that aims to treat muscles that are damaged, knotted, tense, or immobile. It is helpful in treating specific health issues, muscle problems, and injuries.
Remedial massage involves a comprehensive assessment and treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues to assist in rehabilitation, pain, and injury management. By stimulating the blood supply, making joints more mobile, and helping to repair damaged tissues, the therapy aims to reduce pain and increase mobility.
Techniques include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and stretching. It’s ideal for those who suffer from chronic pain, are recovering from injuries, or have stress-related muscle tension.
Gentle Scar Therapy
Gentle Scar Therapy offers a specialised, hands-on approach to treating scars, much like an iceburg they go beyond the visible surface. Remedial Hot Stone Massage
Remedial Hot Stone Massage combines the therapeutic benefits of traditional remedial massage with the soothing warmth of heated stones.
This technique involves placing smooth, heated stones on key points of the body, which enhances the massage’s effectiveness by deeply warming the muscles and promoting relaxation. The heat from the stones helps to expand blood vessels, encouraging blood flow throughout the body, which aids in the healing process.

Cancellation Policy
Massage Essentials is a professional massage service providing remedial and therapeutic massage to a range of clients.
Massage Essentials respects your time by commencing and concluding treatment sessions at the appointed times.
Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you and Massage Essentials understands that circumstances may prevent you from attending your appointment such as illness, family, and work pressures.
Prompt notification of your inability to attend will allow your appointment to be offered to other clients. Fees will be charged for lateness, cancellation, and no shows.
Lateness, Cancellation & No Shows
Lateness
- Please contact Massage Essentials if you are running late for your appointment.
- Your appointment will conclude at the appointed time.
- Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will determine if there is enough time remaining to commence the treatment.
- If bookings allow the therapist, by discretion, may offer to fulfil your allotted appointment time.
- Full payment will be required for your scheduled appointment time.
- Late arrivals due to circumstances beyond your control will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation
- 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
- Cancellations received with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 100% of the treatment cost.
- Future bookings may be denied where clients cancel without genuine reason for 2 successive appointments.
Cancellation due to sickness
- Where cancellation is due to personal illness, clients are advised to contact Massage Essentials to cancel as soon as possible prior to the appointment.
- Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell.
- No cancellation fee will be charged in case of genuine illness.
No Shows
- Clients who either forget or consciously choose to forgo their appointment for whatever reason and where no genuine cancellation attempt has been made will be considered a “no show”.
- No shows will be charged 100% of the treatment cost and future bookings will be denied until payment is made.
- This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
- Clients who do not show for two (2) consecutive appointments will be denied all future bookings.
Cancellation by the therapist
- From time to time your therapist may be unavailable due to leave, illness, family need or another emergency.
- Your appointment will be rescheduled where a substitute therapist cannot be found.
- Massage Essentials will use reasonable endeavours to appoint a substitute therapist for continuation of your care.
