What type of massage do I need?

The answer to this question depends on what you want to get from your massage.  The detailed information on the Services page will help you decide what massage style is right for you.

How long an appointment should I book?

Once again this depends on what you want from the massage.  Have a look on the Services page to see what is possible in the different appointment times available.

How often should I have a massage?

It is hard to answer this question because it depends on so many individual factors.  The best plan is to have a “maintenance” massage every 4 to 6 weeks (always depending on your budget of course! – check out our package deals on the Prices and More page).

If you have an injury, then initially your appointments might need to be more frequent, but always with the aim to extend the time in between them.  Talk to your therapist and you can then make the best decision for you, based on their advice.

Do I have to take my clothes off?

It is possible to have a massage with your clothes on, but it is much more beneficial if you are prepared to take your outer clothes off – but don’t worry – your underwear must stay on!  Your therapist will only uncover the immediate area being massaged, and you can always say if you are not comfortable with a particular area being uncovered.

It is cold outside, will I be comfortable?

You certainly will.  We keep the temperature higher than most offices, we have big fluffy towels to cover you with, and we can give you a heat pack (or two) if you are still feeling cold.

I don’t feel well, should I come for my massage?

Probably best not to, as the massage will aid the flow of the disease around your body plus you are exposing everybody here!  Wait until you are better and get more benefit from the massage.

What happens if I am late?

We understand that it is sometimes hard to get away on time.  So if you are late, we will make every effort to give you your full massage time.  But we also do not want to inconvenience our next client, so appointments will only go past their allocated time if the therapist has the time available between clients.

Please be aware that you will be charged for the appointment time that you originally booked.

What if I can’t make my appointment?

Please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t make your appointment, and we will try to reschedule your appointment at a convenient time.

You should know that most massage therapists work on a contract basis, and will not get paid if you do not come to your appointment.  Also it is often impossible to fill appointments at the last minute, so please decide carefully before cancelling.

You should read our cancellation policy as set out on the Prices and More page.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, we do.  Go to the Prices and More page for more information.

Are you registered with my health fund?

Yes, we probably are.  Go to the Prices and More page for more information.
